Student Government Association elections were held on Tuesday, Septem ber 19 and Wednesday, September 20. This election seemed to be an enjoyable occasion for those in volved. "Ballot Bailiffs” from the Stu dent Government Association had the privilege of meeting student voters, and the voters received ice-cream in return for votes. A bit of giddiness was evident during the proceedings, and SGA officials were in a jocular mood. While having fun, SGA officers also remembered their responsi bilities. Lists of freshman and sopho more voters were kept close at hand to prevent unfair voting, and all officials kept one eye on the ballot box. When the election closed at 1:30 on Wednes day afternoon, the results were tallied as follows: SGA Executive Council: President, Michael Woodruff; Secretary, Step hanie Simpson; Treasurer, Angela Hol brook; PIO, Theresa Foster; and Parlia mentarian, Scotty Scripter. Sophomore Class Officers: Presi dent, Abigail Harris; Vice President, Travis Anderson; Secretary, Charlie Huffman; Senators, Scott Farrington, David McMillian, R.J. Braemer, and Tomica Horton.
