There will be a new student Com
mons, a game room, multipurpose
room, study area, television room,
darkroom, WCC Student Govern
ment office, food service and vend
ing, a Wellness Center, as well as a
student computer usage room. The
Student Development offices will
be moving to this building also.
This new building promises to be
the place for the student to be when
not in class. WCC continues to
strive to make this campus a great
place to get an education. This

building is going to be another great
addition that makes all that happen.

Tuesday, August 13 at 5:15 p.m. Richard
Johnson Jr., Chairman of the WCC Board of
Trustees dug the first shovel of dirt, officially break
ing ground for the 44,000 square-ft. building.
