Elections were held on April 21 and 22 for
the Student Government Association. The
election booth was open from 10am until
2pm both days in Thompson Hall. After all
ballots were counted, the new officers for
the 1997-98 school year were announced.
Those elected are listed below as well as
some background information about each
of them.
Davina Williams was elected president.
She is a graduate of Wilkes Central High
School and is enrolled in the college
transfer program. This year she played on
WCC’s basketball and volleyball teams
and was winner of the women’s all-
rampus basketball free-throw shoot. She
is also a member of Trinity Fellowship
Church.
Scotty Lambert was elected vice-president.
He is a graduate of West Wilkes High
School and is enrolled in the college
