Announces Fall Semester Dean's List
Wilkes Community College's Dean's List for Fall Semester 1997
includes 185 students. To qualify, full-time students must earn a 3.5
grade point average or more out of a possible 4.0. Students who

Our New Buildingf
The new building officially opened on
January 26, 1998 and is proving to be
an exciting place for the students of
W.C.C. Listed below are a few high
lights of what can be found in the
Learning Resources/Student Center.
Cafe/Student Commons (1st. floor):
The new cafeteria will be opening soon
and will be serving lots of great food.
Besides eating in the cafe, students can
also hang out with their friends in the
large commons area.
Computer Lah (1st. floor): Located in
the Student Services Office, this labe
has 8 computers available for student
use. It is oben 7:30 am - 8:00 pm Mon
day -Thursday and 7:30 am -:00 pm on
Fridays.
Gameroom (1st. floor): You can play
pool, football, air hockey, ping pong or
choose among a variety of arcade
games while spending time in this
room.
Learning Resources Center (2nd.
floor): The increased space in this facil
ity is allowing the staff to accommodate
more books, reference materials, com
puter stations and more. Plus, students
will have a great view while they study
or do research in the LRC.
