Cougar Cry 2 CLUB NEW9 WCC Phi Beta Lambda Attends State Leadership Conference Submitted by: Cindy Killian Fourteen students attended the Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference held April 4-6 in Charlotte, NC. The conference provided opportunities for students to compete for state-level awards and to enhance their leadership skills through their attendance and participa tion at various workshops. The WCC chapter was awarded 6 honors for achieving state membership goals and for accomplishing program objectives set forth by the state chapter. Students receiving certificates for completion of leadership development programs in cluded: Chastity Austin, Keishawn Bumgarner, Daphine Grayum, Scott Harler, Leigh Jackson, Brad Johnston, Jessica Marsh, Danny Mullins, Jenny Owens, Andy Roberts, Amber Severt, Michelle White, Joyce Whittington, and Mauldean Williams.
