MerleFest 2007 has been planned with an emphasis on providing more green-space, an enhanced shopping experience, and a safer and more convenient festival for all. As plans progressed for MerleFest 2007, MerleFest staff created The Shoppes at MerleFest, a centrally located shopping village featuring demonstrating artisans, vendors, convenience foods, official MerleFest memorabilia, and services such as the MerleFest Post Office, first aid, lost and found, and internet access. The Shoppes at MerleFest will be located in the two parking lots near the clock tower. In addition to being a central location.
