Y. W. C. A. NOTES.
The Thursday evening meeting
last week was given over entirely
1o installation of officers and re
ports of the year's work of the out
going cabinet.
The work this year has been
rather unique in itself. Of course
1 his has been du? for the most part
to the jubilee; but there have been
some other new features. This is
the first year that we have had a
V. W. C. A. stove and also the first
year that every girl has been a
member of the Y. W. C. A.
Our Bible and mission study
classes have done satisfactory
work. Some of ihe girls have had
the privilege of meeting Miss
Edith Sharpless, to whose class in
Japan we send a small contribu
tion. This and other instances
like it make the mission work
seem real.

Ernest Shore and John Fox for
the past two weeks have been put
ting the boys through some hard
and systematic practice and try
outs. Now that Shore has gone
to the Boston Red Sox training.
Fox has the coaching entirely un
der his direction. He keeps the
boys hard at it every day and his
work is producing results. With
in a few days he will have selected
the probable line up for the oj>en

22nd of March.
