The question was recently asked by a professor, "What has become of the pictures which the Dramat ic Club had hung in the English room?" The answer was that no one seemed to know, but that they were thought to be in some stu dent's room. The pictures referred to were scenes from Macbeth and Hamlet as presented by the Dramatic Club in 1913 and 1914. The Dramatic Club paid for having these pic tures framed and the English pro fessor as coach thought it fitting that they should be hung in h\& class room. Now the question is, Who has these pictures? They certainly are not the property of any indi vidual and we hope to see them re turned at once to their accus tomed places. With the publication of this is sue of The Guilfordian the present board completes its work and re tires in favor of the new board which will have charge of the next issue. In this my last editorial I wish to express my appreciation of the prompt manner in which the mem bers have performed their tasks. I want to thank each and every member of the board; all other persons who have contributed to our columns and for their interest in the improvement of the publi cation. The board wishes to acknowl edge its indebtedness to Miss Pap worth for the splendid articles which she has written for our pa per—articles both of literary and educational merit. This we ap preciate all the more because il has been done solely for the good of our paper as Miss Papworth is neither a member of the board nor does she receive credit for the articles by permitting her name to be signed to them. Finally, we wish for the incom ing board the greatest possible success and we leave The Guilford ian in their hands feeling sure that they will make it a better publication than we have.
