THE GUILFORDIAN FROM THE SOCIAL COMMITTEE (Continued from Page Two) they believed another, so we cannot accept as conclusive this proof. The faculty and student body are invited to a college social to be held November 17, 1934. Everyone is re quested to be present. Games will be provided for those not dancing. Sev eral new and reasonable features sug gested by the students and faculty will be tried. We realize the student body will go their half, and we are willing to go our half in so far as it does not in volve unreasonable requests which tend to reflect more upon an intelli gent student body than upon the so cial committee. The students are not children; that stage is passed. It is as men and women that the student body views present problems. GEORGE CONEAD PARKER, Chairman. , • | J l L.
