W. S. G. Variety Show
Planned For Next
Friday Night
"It's a Woman's World" will
be quite evident on the evening
of March 16th when the women
students of Guilford College com
bine their arts and talents to
produce a variety show.
This is sponsored by the Wom
en's Student Government Council
for the participation of all women
students and the enjoyment of
the entire student body.
Leona Sohmia and Betty Jane
Beamon have worked as co-chair
men on this project while Virginia
Cox, Clara Montgomery, and
Janet Andrews are properties
chairmen.
Each dorm has talent scouts
to round up acts. Rachel Richard
son, Hobbs; Gertie Wright, Found
ers; and Emily Howell, Shore:
are the ingenious scouts.
The show will consist of dance
routines, pantomimes, solos
vocal and instrumental, and pos
sibly skits.
This entire program was plan
ned with the purpose in mind of
furthering the spirit of coopera
tion among all women students.
With the increased enrollment and
the variety of interests evident in
our student body, the Women's
Student Government wishes to
present a touch of this interest
and talent to you. This will be a
