In answer to letters which ap peared in the last issue of the Guil fordian, the senior class would like to present to the students the plans which were followed in carrying out the May Day Court election. The list of girls was compiled by the registration office and approved by the registrar. These girls were included on the basis of hours and quality points held by each of them. All January, June, and Aug ust graduates were included, and it was the duty of the seniors to elect from these girls ten who would compose the 1964 May Day Court. The ballot committee was composed of Newsom Williams, David Seidler, Raven Ellis, and Dan Gregory. These persons will testify to the fact that there was a proper counting of ballots. Any name omitted from the ballot was not an oversight. It was a necessary act due to regulations set forth by the school. This procedure was ap proved by the Dean of Students, the Dean of the College, and the Registrar. If for any reason ques tions do exist, please direct them to any member of the ballot commit tee. Mister Offense (Continued from page 3) this year) and Larry Addleton. His job is to operate the offensive unit with as much efficiency as he can. There is no doubt that the offense was better this year than previous ly, but it lacked a true scoring punch. Jimmy himself was involved in every Quaker touchdown; he passed for three and scored the other five himself. Next year with more help from his mates, Jim hopes to lead his team to some vic tories. Victories, more than per sonal garlands, make the ball play er a satisfied person; and Jimmy Williams is no exception.
