This commencement program, given for the Guilford graduates, will in clude "Onward, Ye People!" by Sibelius, and "Ain' A That Good News" by Dawson. At six o'clock on the night before (on Friday), a dinner will be given for the graduates and their parents. During this time, the choir will give a short "Pops Concert", sing ing selections from "Westside Story" and "The Sound of Music", a medley of songs by Sigmund Romberg, "No Man is An Island", and "Beautiful Savior" (which is the traditional ending song). It's for this latter song that we always ask any and all former choir members in the audience to join us. On Tuesday, April 13, the choir (as a final gathering before everyone "disperses") went to Binford Farlow's for a delicious picnic of barbecued chicken. During our meal, most enjoyed by all, (thanks to you, Mr. and Mrs. Farlow), Ed Lowe opened a gift from the, choir which included a large briefcase and around $5.00 worth in Tic-tacs!
