Lady Quakers End Hard Season
By Fiona Clem
The Lady Quakers
finished a tough season on
Saturday, Feb. 20 by los
ing to Catawba on the
road.
The season ended with a
10-16 record overall and a
5-11 conference record.
The Lady Quakers are
seeded 7th in the con
ference tournament and
will play Pembroke.
"We are in a good posi

have to play a 40 minute
game. We lose the game in
the last 6-10 minutes and
we can't afford to do that.
We have played some of
our best basketball
against Pembroke and
we'll need everyone to
play well and perform."
Noticeable loses to next
years line-up will be
Felicia Mosley and Lisa
Ward. Mosley a 6-0 center
and Ward a 5-11 forward
are both graduating.
"Both have been assets
to the team," Cornwell
commented. "They work
hard and have good at
titudes. They both will be
missed."
"Overall the season has
been enjoyable," said Cor
nwell. "The players are
great to work with but the
