Senior guard Andre Ricketts said "I
wasn't shooting well early in the sea
son. But I feel if you're a good player,
your abilities cane out eventually. My
ability just came out late in the sea
son."
His ability lately has been clear. In
the game against Methodist he was 8
for 13 from the field, 6 for 8 on three
pointers and he captured three re
bounds. In his brief playing time of 21
minutes, he boosted the score by 25
points. When the team challenged
Bridgewater on Saturday, Ricketts was
6 for 13 from the field and 4 for 7 on
three-pointers, grabbed four rebounds,
and put 16 points on the scoreboard.
Coach Jack Jensen told Ricketts to
"try and have fun this season," and that
is exactly what Ricketts has been do-

score as much as I would have liked
to (for the season), I still had fun."

enjoyed helping the incoming fresh
man prosper in new surroundings.
"I'm proud to see the freshmen play
ing well," he adds.
With ajustice and policy studies ma
jor and sports management minor,
Ricketts is undecided about his future
plans. But his memories of the team
will never be erased. "It [playing bas
ketball for four years at Guilford] is
something I'll remember for the rest
of my life."
