This is your last chance, s Piper, Quaker editors chosen Gail Kasun News Editor After years of difficulty filling editorships for Guilford's three major student publications, the editors of The Quaker, The Piper, and The Guilfordian have all been chosen, each meeting the applica tion deadline. This year's Quaker yearbook editor is Senior Jodie Hargus. Hargus has had multi-faceted ex perience on the Quaker, as well as on other magazines, journals and newspapers, she said. The Piper literary magazine will be headed by Christopher Huggins, current format editor and selections staffer for The Piper. "The length of each publi cation is going to double," he Huggins said, and will include prose, short plays, stories, essays, and all forms of art. In addition, he plans to change much of the design. Huggins said that out of the nor mal 60 to 70 Piper submissions, he will accept around 40 and work with the writers. "I plan on deal ing a lot more with the writers per sonally," he said. worship. She said that is where the articles in the year book will help students better as sociate events and memories. Hargus and Huggins both have returning staffs but are also look ing for talented people to join them.
