be commended. I think it is really great that
they are stepping up to the plate so early on
in their college careers. Perhaps you find

As Ali has mentioned in previous arti
cles, this year we are trying to develop a
sense of community at Guilford. This com
munity includes, of course, faculty. Max
Carter attended our first meeting to impart
us with some of his knowledge on consen
sus and on Sept. 28 Adrienne Israel and Ken
Gilmore spoke about Guilford's Quality
Enhanced Plan (QEP).
See, we really do accomplish more than
simply bestowing funds to those in need of
it. Want proof? Come see Wednesday
nights at 7 p.m. in Boren Lounge.
