Plans were made to avoid being awakened by tlie screaming noise by staying awake. After playing in the qualification match the grounds may be used free for the tournament. 'rile tennis single tournament is in iirogress at present. If the weath er is good next week it is hoped that the single best tennis players at -Salem will be known. 'I'uesday, Wednesday and I hurs- day the first round of the single ten nis match was ))layed. Girls win ning in this round will play in the sceond round which is now being played and must be over by Monday ing. 'I'he third round will be jilayed Tuesday. 'I'he ojiponents to be met in each round will be posted by the player’s name on the bulletin board in Main Hall. Consolation games for those los- g out in the respective rounds will be played; thus each ])layer might gain more practice and more points 'I'he tournament for doubles will gin Monday, May 1,5. There is still no to sign for entrance in this tournament and all girls interested in tennis are urged to enter the dou ble tournament at once. Riding and Sit'imming-.
