Rain has de layed some of the previous plan^ ned games. The first game was between the Freshman and Seniors with the Seniors winning 17-8 Peggy Watkins pitched for the Sen iors and Sara Lou Davis for the Freshman. In spite of their loss the Freshman made several except ionally pretty plays. With the aid of the pitcher, Lisa Munk playing first and Emily Warden as catcher made a nice double out. Heavy- hitters for the game were Carolyn Taylor, who made the only home run, Nancy Wray, jand Orpha Gate- wood. The Sophomores led in at tendance for this game. With Gammy Lovelace and Ann Eixey alternating pitching position, the Sophomores defeated the Jun iors 14-8. Ann Spencer was one of the most outstanding players; she is the Sophomore third baseman.
