Engagement For Marriage

A wedding in March will mean
a change of camptjses for Virginia
Holton.
Once she and Charles Fishburne
of Asheville have said their “I do’s”,
she leaves her job at the Salem
Book Store for Duke University,
where Charles is studying mechani
cal engineering. They will spend
their summers in Asheville’s vaca
tion land, but it will not be all
play for Charles. He and his bro
ther operate “Standard Designers”,
a company which designs hydraulic
machines there.
The romance started two years
ago when they met at a church'
conference in Greensboro. They
started dating last January. Result:
plans are being made for a formal
ceremony in Gospel Chapel, this
Spring.
Mrs. George Brinkley, Virginia’s
sister, will not only lend her wed
ding dress to the bride, but she
will be on hand as matron of honor.
Charles’s brother, Francis, will be
best man.
