jy^arch 31 Mr. Roy Campbell, secretary of the faculty, announced today that Corrin Refectory will be used for a faculty recreation center. Con sequently the Day Students Center has been renovated to replace the dining room as an eating place for the students. Though the Day Students Center | is not considered adequate to seat all girls at one time, Mrs. Cum mings has announced that meals will be served twice a day in two shifts: brunch will be served at 5:00 A. M. and 6:00 A. M. and mid-afternoon snack at 4:00 and 5:00. Girls who have classes at these times will either have to take cuts or eat at Welfare’s or Gooch's but no money can be refunded for board paid at the beginning of the semester. R. S. will sponsor a party in the Cam pus Date Room for all Salem stu dents and their dates. Mr. Dorsey has graciously consented to provide entertainment for this gathering Saturday night, the formal dance will start promptly at 9:00 with the theme, “I’m getting Sentimental Over You.” Miss Lytch has offered to set up a band stand in the dining hall, so that Mr. Dorsey can play his trom bone during Sunday meals. The maids have been requested to prac tice rolling their carts in rhythm. Mr. Dorsey is on tour, and he has just finished a concert at Elon Col lege.
