Mr. Roy Campbell, secretary of
the faculty, announced today that
Corrin Refectory will be used for
a faculty recreation center. Con
sequently the Day Students Center
has been renovated to replace the
dining room as an eating place for
the students.
Though the Day Students Center |
is not considered adequate to seat
all girls at one time, Mrs. Cum
mings has announced that meals
will be served twice a day in two
shifts: brunch will be served at
5:00 A. M. and 6:00 A. M. and
mid-afternoon snack at 4:00 and
5:00. Girls who have classes at
these times will either have to take
cuts or eat at Welfare’s or Gooch's
but no money can be refunded for
board paid at the beginning of the
semester.

Dr. Gramley appointed a coni-
mittee to buy the new beds. Since
only $307.31 could be set aside for
this purpose, he suggested that the
committee conduct a thorough in
vestigation of prices before the final
selections are made.
Work on redecorating the rooms
will begin immediately. The rooms
are expected to be completed in
time for May Day, 1961.
