Page Six THE SALEMITE September 28, 195| Kit Sinclair Hurt In Car ■’Truck Crash Kit Sinclair suffered a severe head cut and bruises recently when the car in which she was riding collided with a log truck near Tal lahassee, Fla. As the car started to pass, the truck driver made a sudden left turn without giving a hand signal. Kit was on her way to Panama City, Fla. to see her fiance, Hal Ingram, who was stationed at Tyn dall Air Force Base. She was ac companied hy Hal’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Ingram of Laurin- burg, N. C. who also received bruises. The automobile was damaged be yond repairs and was left in Tal lahassee. Kit and Mr. and Mrs. Ingram continued the trip in a rented car. Faculty Plan Three Recitals Three faculty recitals have been scheduled for October and early November. The first of these will be a violin recital given by Eugene Jacobow- sky, Oct. 8 at 8:30 p.m. in Memor ial Hall. Mrs. Eugene Jacobowsky, voice teacher at Salem, will present a concert Oct. 29 in Memorial Hall. Miss Margaret Vardell will give an organ recital in Memorial Hall on No. 5.
