\ Page Six THE SALEMITE October 5, I95| Pierrettes Change Policy In a recent meeting of the Pier rettes certain changes were made in the policy of the organization. It was decided to dispense with dues since the Pierrettes has be come a working organization rather than a social one. Also the office of vice-president was dissolved. The slate of officers for the year was announced as follows: bus iness manager, Anne Lowe; tech nical director, Jeanne Plarrison; costumes, Ann Simpson; lighting, Eleanor Johnson; scrapbook, Elea nor Fry; decorations, Connie Mur ray; publicity, Fae Deaton and scene designer, Bryan Balfour. Tentative plans made for the semester include a three act play to be presented Nov. 15 and 16, a Carnival Day to help raise funds for a new curtain in Old Chapel and a workshop production Jan. 15. Television Room Opened The television room in Strong dormitory is now open every night from 7:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. Chairs may be found in the closet on the left of the entrance door. Dean Heidbreder reminds students to keep the volume low since the room will be used during quiet hours.
