Hews Briefs A dinner for the Methodist stu dents of Salem, Bowman Gray and Winston-Salem will be held at the Centenary Methodist Church at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6. Plans for this and other activities of the year were discussed by the Methodist group on campus at their first meeting which was held Tuesday. Eight student leaders, will attend a Methodist retreat Nov. 7-9 at Camp New Hope near Chapel Hill. * * :c % The Art Club will show five Ger man films with comments by Stan ley Kimball on Nov. 6 at 7:30 p.m. in Room 103 South. They will consist of Don Juan’s Wedding, filmed in 1909, Misunder stood, starring Henry Porten; The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, filmed in 1919; Birth of a Nation and The Galem. Admission will be by Art Club film tickets only.
