Salem. At dinner last night they
were the guests of the college, and
after dinner they were honored by
a coffee in the Friendship Rooms

Belmont Abbey, Winston-Salem
Teachers’ College, Mitchell, Guil-
;ford, Greensboro College and Wo

North Carolina.

“More serious thought convinces
me that the experience of living in
Norway will be more significant for
our two countries, Salem College,
and for me than the limited amount
of study I can do while there. I
would look forward, in studying the
literature, history and social and
political institutions of the country,
to receiving only a foundation on
which to base my attitude toward
the ‘seeing’ I’ll be doing with my
eyes, my mind and my heart.’
Agnes thinks that this experience
will prepare her for her relations
with people all through life and
lead her to influence her class
mates and her future family to be
more internationally minded.
The alternates chosen for these
two girls are Bobbi Kuss and Mar
tha Thornburg.

was in “The Medium” and is a re
porter for the Salemite'.
