Rats And Mice (Continued from Page One) style, while scrubbing the walk; another had to imitate Mary Pick- ford while doing a hand stand. Rat Court climaxed these “ratty” days. We were marched into the Old Chapel and made to sit on the floor with our backs to the stage so I really couldn’t tell too much about the proceedings. However, 1 sneaked a peek at Marian Plarris. She was prancing about the stage pulling her hair and screaming. No, she is not crazy; she was just mimicking life in a snake pit. Next thing I knew, the sophomores had three blindfolded girls up on a table telling them to jump on a floor supposedly covered with tacks. I can’t imagine why they looked so scared. The rest of the program was taken up with such things as a dance from Rita Hay worth and a speech from Eliza beth Taylor. Exhausted, we were lead on a mysterious hike through the May Dell. Things are fine ndw that Rat Week is over. All the classes are happy, as the cokes and cookies given to the freshmen by the so phomores at a party made the rats and the rattlers friends again. It wasn’t really hard to think of the sophomores again as a swell group of girls. Writing all of this had made me realize how tired I am. Love, ,Your daughter P. S. Don’t worry about me in case of an air raid or a flood.
