COLE OF CALIFORNIA BATHING SUITS I 50 million times a day at home, at work or while at play There’s nothing like a Mozart’s “Requiem” On Tuesday, April 26, the Ora torio Society of Winston-Salem will present Mozart’s “Requiem” in a Memorial Hall concert. In addition to the “Requiem”, the program includes two Moravian- Anthems; “O, The Blessed Is Great,” composed by Johann Bech- ler, the pastor of Home Moravian Church in 1833-36; and “Behold the Sight,” an Easter Anthem written by Simon Peter in 1791 while he was pastor at Home Moravian Church. Presidents’ Workshop Meets The Presidents’ Workshop was held Wednesday, April 20, from 5 to 11 p.m. in the Friendship Rooms of Strong Dormitory. At this meet ing the heads of all the major cam pus organizations planned organi zational and campus-wide objec* tives for the coming year. F. T. A. Welcomes New Members Last night the F. T. A. had its monthly meeting; Mary Mac Rogers, the new president presided, and ^he new sophomore members were received. Kay Williams Heads I. R. C. Kay Williams, a sophomore from Charlotte, was elected president of the International Relations Club at the meeting on Monday, April 4, in Bitting. Marian Myers was chosen vice-president; Margaret Hogan will serve as secretary-treasurer 1955-56. Y- Sponsored Vespers Vespers, sponsored by the new YWCA Council, will be held in Little Chapel at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Preparation For Room Drawing According to Mrs. Heidbreder, if any student has a physical dis ability making it necessary for her to ask for a specific room for next year, she must file a physician’s request to that effect in the Dean of Students’ office by Friday, April 29. After that date, all rooms not reserved will be placed in the draw ing. Junior-Senior: “Golden Days” At 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, the Senior class will be guests at a semi-formal banquet on the roof of the Robert E. Lee Hotel. Throughout the banquet, given annually by the Junior class, the theme “Golden Days” will be car ried out. Committee chairmen of the pre parations for the banquet are Emily Baker, over-all chairman; Eleanor Smith, entertainment; Barbara Berry, invitations; Rose Dickinson, programs; Betty Saunders, host esses ; and Mary Lou Mauney, food chairman. acfnez...
