However, we weren’t left out of the atmos phere, for an icy wind began sweeping through Cozy. A quick glance around the room revealed Hila Moore and Martha McKay studying in front of an open win dow so that the snow would come in on them. The urge to go out soon became too strong, and exams were for gotten as we more experienced sophomores rushed out to join the yelling bunch in front of Clewell. Sarah Munroe and Sarah Jane Thompson were fulfilling their heart’s desire — to make a real snowball and actually throw it at someone. Between snowballs they kept shouting, “I just can t believe it’s really snowing,” “It’s so fluffy, and “I wish we had this in Florida and Alabama!” Meanwhile busy hands and squeals of excitement brought the first snowman for many of the frosh and nothing gave them more of a thrill than just touching the stuff. I I^^k^daround and realized how excited we must have been last year when we saw the snow coming down for the first time. However, I guess the pros pect of seeing snow is what brings sunshine gals up here to the freez- ing north to school. take it from me, my " seen-snow-before” f r i e though the desire to go with experience, we old rida girls feel that there thing like it!
