Paee Four THE SALE MITE April 12. |Qt,7 An Ode To A New Dorm Hark! Hark! What is this tiling called Babcock Dorm To which we Saleniites next year will swarm ? To tell the truth I couldn’t visualize Until [ looked to the past and realized. What w'ill it be like to sit on a chair And know a Moravian had never sat there ? How will 1 go to the john at night Without some ghost lurking just out of sight? Must I walk down the hall in heels, clickety-clack Knowing I’ll never catch them again in a crack ? Can I have my old bed—the one so outmoded, The one to which the antique col lectors are becoming devoted ? Will they have my jiets, the cock roaches, installed To eat our food and race us through the halls ? Don’t worry; everything will re main the same. ’ We’ve got to keep the spirit and Salem’s name. Don’t fight for the past by signing a petition— Remember, anything done twice becomes a tradition. ■—Pat Houston Joint Recital To Be Qiven Anita Smith and Wanda Grubbs, sophomore piano students, will be presented in a joint recital Friday, April 26, at 7:30.
