In order to encourage participation of the incoming freshmen, a com mittee within the Council is prepar ing information to be sent to them this summer. This spring, plans are being made for softball tourna ments and swimming activities. Also this year there is an additional member in the Council, the Chair man of the Student Center, who will work together with the Coun cil in planning activities connected with the Student Center, such as bridge tournaments and ping-pong tournaments. Plans for the coming year are in definite, but there are hopes of en larging the activities to include such sports as riding, golf, and ping-pong.
