She made sure not only that her staff met the deadlines, but also that they had fun doing the work. Even at the Sun Printing Company Robbin’s insistence that there was just one more comma fault to be corrected was often the closing words of the day This was a year of change for The Salemite. Because of Salem’s academic changes, the new Thurs day deadline for the paper often meant that preparation for seventy- five minute classes had to be sacri ficed. An English and history major from Greensboro, N. C., Robbin plans to teach high school upon graduation. She will marry Dallas Clark on June 26—and maybe raise a few little editors. Freshman Betsy Barnes accepted the pin of Bill Bingham from Andrew College, and Liza Via plans to marry Wesley Bonds, who will graduate from Tulane in June. Cheri Rose completes the freshman inventory by announcing her plans for an August wedding with Tommy Davis, a 1965 candidate for graduation at Carolina. The junior register increased per centage-wise after the engagements of Pam Baker and Jan Crawley.
