Seminars were offered in such varied fields as skiing, sailing, ka rate, painting, psychedelic drugs, prejudice, the thought of Paul Til lich, and cancer. A maximum of twenty students per class limited the enrollment. The Experimental College is not formally affiliated with Wake For est University, although it is spon sored by the Student Government and has many faculty participants. The college is based on the idea that knowledge should come from an interest in the subject rather than grade points and is therefore a testing ground for new teaching methods. Classes began the week of Febru ary S and will last from six to eight weeks. Class leadership is under the direction of either co-ordinatorS who are most often students and senior participants who are experts in their field or instructors parti cipating in non-academic courses. The only other college of this type is that which is held at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The college in Chapel Hill is in its third session and of fers 54 courses not only to students and faculty as does the Wake Forest college but also to the towns people. For Nice Things To Wear . . .
