Their comments on the day ranged in every aspect -- here are a few; “At least we’ll know what to do next year!” “I’ve never had this much fun in my life” “I loved every minute!” “If my costume would only stay up.” “I had such a good time that I paid for it Tuesday!” “It really embodies the spirit of Salem.” “It’s not quite what I thought i would be.” “. . . totally crazy, ab solutely wild!” “I think some people made real fools of themselves!” “What a blast!” “My stomach hurt all day.” “What’s so great about it anyway?” “I can’t wait til things get back to normal!” “I love it now, but I won’t in sociology bright and early Tuesday.” The freshmen reaction in general was, “I can’t wait ’till next year!” (Photos by Persis Thompson)
