Page 4, Salemite, Sept. 19,1980 Here Comes Harvey Salemites, get ready ~ the comedy of comedies is coming to our school. Yes, on October 10, 11, and 12 we will be privileged to view, in our own drama workshop, the comedy Harvey, which tells the story of an alcoholic who sees a large white rabbit. This hallucination causes problems for the sister and niece of the man, and they attempt to have him committed to an institution. The problems that arise are hilarious, so the play will imdoubtably tickle your funny bone. The best part about the play is that Salem students are producing, direc ting, and performing it. What more could we request? The male lead of Elwood P. Dowd will be played by Liz Lawless, and the female lead of Veta Louise Simons will be played by Beth Horton. The Pierrettes still need stage crew help, though, so if you’re interested, call Paula Ruth Ford at 721-2698, or come by room 327 Clewell. Tickets to Harvey are free, so put the time on your calendar, and get ready for an evening of laughs with the Pierrettes. Y’all come! by Robin Elmore Restaurant Review Der Beef Haus, located on the corner of Lockland Ave. and Silas Creek Parkway, specializes in “Deli Style” subs and sand wiches. The “Beef Haus Sub” is an especially generous serving, and customers may choose from over 30 styles of mustard. Soups and salads are also available. Owner Mike McMillan suggests a call to the “Haus” before picking up orders at the drive- thru station, as all meals are made to order. From 3 to 6 p.m. daily, every other draught beer, normally 65 cents, is only a nickel. McMillan also stocks over 40 brands of im ported and domestic beer. McMillan plans to show old boxing matches (luring “off hours” and patrons may also watch this season’s televised football games. Der Beef Haus is open from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. weekdays and 11 a.m. until 3 a.m. weekends. '--1 M , Snfofihel!^ W Cv •’S’ Qlt Sl‘ SpaciAlius ns l.Si .75’ '31 * Sped*/MiC4.
