January 12. 1942 BAILEY BUGLE Pupils Heer Rose Bowl Gcsme As those two great football teams, Duke and Orogoa State, met January 1 in Duke sta dium, in the football classic of the year, one-half of the Bailey Hi^h School student body was at their loudspeakers. Students greeted each touchdown made by their favorite team with loud cheers and yells. Jone Results from the ‘'poll j of favorite programs, } actor, and songs -con ducted recently proved a striking similarity between the choice of girls and boys. Votes cast in answer to the question '.vho is your favorite movie actor? showed Clark C-able a favorite' amon^, the girls, while James Cagney came out on top for the boys. Letty Grable, a favorite among both girls and boys, received votes as the most popular actress. Among the girls "The Aldrich Family"capped the honors as the most enjoyable radio pro gram, while that high riding gentleman from the vide open spaces, the Lono Ranger, prov ed the boys* choice. Surprisingly enough both girls and boys agreed that the best movie they had seen recently was "Gone Jith The ’.Vixid."
