BAIUY BUGLE
Bugle Improves Eech Yeer
PHYLIS
Coming
across the
first copies of the
Bugle published in '39
set me to making com
parisons with our pre
sent issues* I was
quite interested to
note the differences I
foimd.
Margins uneven, v/ords
misspelled, letters
written on top of one
ano the r--that's the
way oiir first Bugle
looked,
Tho Bugle has in
creased in size from
twelve pages to a vol-
vune of twenty to
twenty-five pages.
By skillful arrange
ment of news articles,
ads, and features the
make-up is made more
interesting and tho
paper as a v/hole lo^ks
neater and more at
tractive «
The stylo of writing
reveals an improvement
in tho general tech
nique of nows editing,
Tho subjects reported
arc, likowise, of more
general interest.
The success and im
provement of tho paper
indicates hard work
and co-operation on
the part of the staff
each year.Thojr are to
bo congratulated.
