STENCILS GAIN HOME
To keep stencils well
preserved so that they
may be used again if
needed, a stencil
file , composed of
ten compartments, has
been made by Joseph
Lamm and Forest Perry
under the supervision
of Mr. Lemon Tapp,

ments v;ill be used for
the monthly issues of
the Bailey Bugle; the
other one is for mis-
vent or” by. Pup in; ’’The
Americanization of
Edward Bok", Bok; "Up
from Slavery," Washing
ton; and "A Man for
the Ages." Bacheller.
In order to become
better acquainted with
the classics, the e-
levonth graders are
reading during the
fall months the works
of Dickons, Eliot,
Thackeray, Barrie,
Scott, and others,
SCRAP DRIVE TO BE
PUSHED DURING MONTH
Since metal is still
vitally important in
helping win the war,
November has been sot
aside as the month for
another salvage drive.
Everyone is asked to
take part by collect
ing and turning in
either to schools or
to salvage stations
all old scrap motal.
All scrap donated to
the schools v/ill be
sold and finances used
for school purposes.
Individuals v/ishing to
sell their own scrap
may do so. In any
case the scrap will go
for the same cause.
