October 18,. .1944 COLLEGE AT TACT i OF SENIOR HALF OP the seniors of ’44 are In college or business school, seven have employment, tv/o are In the armed forces, one is con tinuing her studies at Bailey Hi.gh, and four are helping at home. Entering college are BOBBY JONES CORBETT at Oak Ridge; FOREST PERRY and ADOLPH BRANTLEY, State, ROSANNA JONES and ARAH PEARL HORTON Atlantic Christian College ;BO'BBIE MORGAN, Duke; TOMMY ETHERIDGE, ”/ake Forest; and JO SEPHINE GRIPFIN, Wo man’s College in Greensboro. RUTH RUF FIN will enroll soon at King's Business School. JOE HIGH and HENRY EARL G-LOVER are in the Nav-y. WALLACE BISSETTE is taking Air Corps training at State College. Employed are BOBBY STOTT, working at the Rock Quarry; GLADYS LAT'.'IM at Baltimore; MAUDE LE7IIS at Golds boro; PHILIP STONE, Eugene's Pilling Sta tion, Bailey; *ROMAINE PERRY, Draft Board, Spring Hope; and I.IARGIE HIGH, Raleigh with the telephone office, BAILEY BUGLE HALF S BRUCE , GRIPFIN, RAY MOND JONES, and CLEO P/iTTERSON are at home. JE.AN VIGK married dur ing the summer. She is nov/ Mrs. Roland Mur ray. IffiLBA JEAN STOTT is enrolled at Bailey again this year. A past editor of the Bailey Bugle, two years ago, Sarah Mor gan Parmer has been asked to serve on the staff of the college paper at Greensboro College. AIRPORT TO BE READY BY LAST OF MONTH Completion of the Wilson Municipal A.ir- port, located near Wil son, has been sched uled for the latter part of this month* This county project, covering two square miles, costing approxi mately one million and a half dollars, has been financed by the government and Wilson county, (next column) AT WILSON, N.C Pa.g;e 11 The airport, con tracted by Kline, G.
