This
that
more
Schools are beginning
their third war year
of operation,
means of course,
there are many
shortages of supplies
and equipment than in
former years. Students
and teachers will find
it necessary to make
the present supplies
of some things last
and to find ways and
means of substituting
for others,
QUOTA OBTAINED
Bailey School is
CTuite fortunate in
having been able to
obtain a full quota
of well trained teach
ers for this year.
There are sovonteon
teachers in the Bailey
School and seven in
the Mt, Pleasant
School, Three nev/ tea
chers v/ere added to
the Bailey faculty
this year,
HANDICAPS CONQUERED
The school year has
gotten off to an un
usually good start.
Barbecue
The tv;o major dif
ficulties have been
the illness of the
janitor and the fail
ure of the nev/ school
bus to arrive when ex
pected. James’s ill
ness has necessitated
the sweeping being
done by students, and
the lack of a bus has
causcd double loads,
IMPROVEI^JENT NEEDED
The major improvement
needed in the student
body is more consider
ation of behavior in
the halls. Change
classes quietly, with
out talking and with
out undue delays.
Let's make this a
banner year for Bailey !
