Requirements For Prestige Inhligh School

school the standards
for prestige are some
what different from
those of the adult
world. Almost univer
sally people are evalu-'
ated by the money they
spend. In our school,
money is an asset but
not a requirement. We
do not choose our
leaders because of
their wealth but be
cause of their initia
tive and ability.
ATHLETES
During certain sea
sons of the year the
students in the lime
light are our athletes
v/g recognize their un-
-isual prowess and ac
cord to them the pres
tige they deserve. Of

The faculty, more so
than the student body,
sets up scholarship
as a requirement for
social standing. The
student body pays less
attention to grades
and scholastic stand
ing than to personal
ity and cthlotic
ability.

mand that their class
mates be cooperative
in class affairs, that
they bo loyal to their
school and fellov; stu
dents, that they main
tain a respectful
manner to both tcachor
and classmates, that
they show originality
and initiative v/hen
they are so talented,
and they fall in line
