POSSlBILITr SAYS COACH
"Although we were defeat
ed in the practice game
with Iliddlesex, both teams
played unusually well for
the first game of the year,"
asserts coach Weaver.
Iiliddlesex teams overcame
both Bailey teams in the
preseason game played last
week at Middlesex v/ith the
score - girls, 21-25; boys,
36-19.
Orders for girls* and
boys’ suits have been
pLaced, but, as yet, the
sa'.ts have not arrived.
GRADES LIMIT NUMBER
OF STUDY HALL PRACTICES
Students wishing to prac
tice basketball on their
study halls this year will
have to be careful of
their grades on their re
port cards, as the gradeu'
will determine the prac
tice periods permitted.
Principal V/eaver has out
lined a plan for practic
ing; if a student makes
A's on his report, he may
practice three times a
week; if he makes B's, tv/o
times; and if he averages
C’s and D's, one study
hall per week.
”If this brings a drop in
grades, arrangements will
be changed," declared Iv&*.
Weaver.
