students grasp better the
meaning of their studies.
Only one picture, The
Night Before Christmas,
has been shown for enter

"Interest and enthusiasm
have been noted in typing
tvo class since six stu
dents received the 0. T.
50-word pin (competent
typist) and one student,
the 0. T. 60-word pin",
stated I.jrs. Laurine Las
siter, commerical teacher.
To receive these pins the
students were required to
type 50 words a minute fOr
ten minutes with only five
mistakes.
Above is a facsimile of
the pin.
PaperShortageHitsBugle
Paper shortage continues
to be felt by the*BUaL"^.
For this issue only the
20 pouiid-v7ei--.ht paper
could be ?ecui‘cd, and thnt
v.as not avciilable until
the last minute. Anything
unier this weight means
that two-side printing can
not be done.
To liave a neat job of
nimeorrajih v«ork run on
both sides of the paper
nothini^ leso than 28 ;j0und
paper is satisfactory. One
order of this has been
fil].ed this fall. Ifo de
finite promises have been
made for future shipments.
