"in addition to the recent

ounce in domestic air-mail
rates, the Post Office De
partment is planning a nev;
form of letter to be known
as an AIRGR/iM, T/hich may
be sent anywhere in the
globe for 10 cents. The
airgram ivill be a post war
adaptation of V-mail. It
will consist of a light,
single sheet of paper,
which, when folded, be
comes a sealable, stamped
envelope, but unlike V-
mail it will not be photo
graphed. "

CLASS SKETCHES MAPS
Various maps have been
drawn by the geography
class during the study of
different countries and re
gions. Since their work
showed much effort, Jfrs.La
ssiter named them "carto
graphers ."
These maps v/ere assigned
as aid for getting better
acquainted with thd coun
tries and regions and as a
preparation for tests.,
The maps are displayed in
the commercial room. The
different kinds are Legend
of Industrial Areas, South
America's Ports and Im
ports, Caribbean Lands,and
Coal Fields of England ^nd
Scotland.
