The mascots were unanim ously elected at a class meeting last week. During the meeting the seniors chose the rose as class flower, red and white as class colors, and ’’Knowledge comes but wisdom lingers” as their motto. Of the 35 members of the senior clsss, 18 have ex pressed intentions of going to college. Those who have definitely decided on colleges or have made applications are Billy Horner, A. C.; J'illard lorgan, Evelyn Poole, frank Lewis, Duksj Jacqueline Collie, U.N.C., and Jackie Lois Edwards, Patsy Lamm, Greensboro College.
