To date the lunchroom is
holding its head clear of
debts.
If it were not for the
contributions of the fed
eral government, the out-

has taken in i-7535.66 and

fruit or dessert, bread,
milk, peanut butter, and
creamery butter. Twice a
week ice cream is served.
PARENTS TO SEE
SCHOOL IN ACTION
All parents are invited -
urged - to attend the
March, P. T. A. Open House
at which time all class
rooms and various depart
ments will, by means of ex
hibits and demonstrations,
help the parents to see
their school in action.
The meeting will open
with a program in the audi
torium entitled "Happiness
Begins in the Home." Fol
lowing this, parents and
friends will be invited to
visit the school and be
come acquainted with the
teachers, the class room
work, and the correlated
activities of the school.
The grademothers, program,
hospitality, and publicity
committees are cooperating
to make this an infor
mative progi’am.
Health Class Undertakes To Maintain Cleanliness
To keep the sick room and
rest room clean and neat
is the main objective of
the project started by the
health class.
Miss Rebecca Tomlinson,
health teacher, has organ
ized a plan whereby the
work will be evenly dis
tributed among the class.
Each day two girls will be
sent to inspect these two
rooms. Both rooms will get
a thorough cleaning once a
week.
Miss Tomlinson and the
girls request that each do
her part in keeping these
rooms more orderly.
Since the girls have
taken charge of cleaning
the rooms, there has been
a great improvement in
their appearance.
