Committees- for the sock- hop "were named by social chairman, CAROLYN FINCH. FRANCES CARROLL presi dent, announced the mnner in selling Christmas cards. SHELBY JEAN CARROLL re ceived the prize of one dollar for sellinp; tifjenty two boxes; JOYCE THOMPSON T/as second hi^.h with ten boxes. A total of 85 boxes have been 'sold by the en tire group. Christmas Is Them© Of Class Work Christmas activities for the home economics classcs include making decorations, gifts, and cooking Christ mas goodies. Freslimen and sophomore classes are making deco rations and gifts-ear bobs, etchings, rag dolls, plaques, and woven pot holders and rugs. Learning to make fruit cakes and other foods appropriate for Christmas day have kept the third year classes occupied. Tonight, beginmng at 7:30 and ending at 11:00, the Future Homemakers are sponsoring a sock-hop; the admission price is fifty cents per person.
