Initiation day was"very
much in evidence" last
week as the freshmen boys

Awards ForTobocco
Danny Glover and Bobby
Dew walked off with cash
awards at the Rocky Mount
Junior Tobacco show, the
first of the month.
Danny's Project won him
a War Bond for the
order in vrtiich his crop
was displayed.
Bobby's project won him
spl5 in cash for having
good lugs.
Although Dwight Glover
didn't win a prize, he was
"satisfied" vdth his sale
as much so as the other
boys.

liamentary procedure con
test in Middlesex, Wed
nesday, October lii.
"The purpose of the con
test is to teach officers
to ,'onduct meetings and
express themselves well
during a meeting," states
Boss Wells.
"The boys showed definite
improvement but didn't
attempt to spend much time
on the procedure," he adds.
