went over with a bang.
After seeing their collec
tion of ready-to-wear gar
ments and piece goods, one
really has an idea of the
coming trends this spring.
One of the most outstand
ing dresses was an empire
sheath dress of navy
faille, Louise Davis, who
modeled the dress, de
scribed it as "a darling
creation and perfect for
Easter," Under its short
jacket there was a waist
of blue po3a dots on white,
"It was perfectly beauti
ful," commented the girls.
The empire dress was also
shown in navy crepe and
printed linen. The latter
was styled with last
year's mandarin collarj
but was still in keeping
with this season's trends,
Sylvia Glover had the
pleasure of showing a da
cron suit. Dacron is said

but after seeing the one
from Belks it can easily
be realized.
