Program Local F,F,A, members pre sented a T.V, program this month on the subject of nematodes at W.N.C.T. in Greenville on the "Farming for Tomorrow"' program* Pictures that were taken locally were used to illus trate the damage done by nematodes while the boys emphasized the importance of controlling them. Planning for the program was done by JAMES WELLS, president; CHARLES WILL IAMS, vice president; DALE WELLS, secretary; CARROL bottoms,,reporter; and ad viser Wells, Highlighting safety in shop work will be featured on another T.V. program to be presented by the chap ter in March. Promotion of calendar sales created the most in terest at the first busi ness session of the chap ter at Parkers*, according to vice president CHARLES WILLIAMS. Items of business discuss ed and passed were attend ance at the State Fair, October 19, initiation for Green Hands, Calendar ad vertisements as a fund raising campaign, the Chap ter’s paying half the cost of official FFA jackets for officers, and the pur chasing of new vollSy ball equipment for the chapter# .
