The decision reached by the faculty specifically states that hereafter a six-week grade will not be changed exc.ept in the case of sickness or other in cident that causes a stu dent to miss the last part of a grading period. If a teacher announces a test before the date of the test, any student ab sent that day must make the test up the day he re turns on a study hall be fore class, if one; if not, on class. SEMESTER GRADES At the end of a semester, if a student fails the exam, he may take the exam over once if passing is determined by exam. "These added regulations are not intended as punish ment. We hope that by ob serving them each student will keep both the quality and quantity of his work up to par,” explains Prin cipal M, W. Weaver. The chart makes it possi ble for a student to earn 150 to l60 points. TRIP To make the trip he must have 120 points to his credit by the. time the February issue of the BUGLE is published. Number of points given pupils for each assigned task varies from one to five depending upon the energy, carefulness, and thought required. Because some students have not been doing as much work as others, the class did not feel that all should share alike in the BUGLE funds. TH/INKSGIVING HOLIDAYS NOVEMBER 22-23
