On’ December 12, I960, the
freshmen joined the
Christmas festivities when
their grademothers gave
them a Christmas Party in
the cafeteria. Refresh
ments were served; they
played games and danced.

In order to guide stu
dents into subjects that
correspond with their
abilities, aptitude tests
are given to the eighth
graders each year.
The students take the
test to see which subjects
they are best suited to
and which are in accord
with their capabilities.
Students which arc rated
as academic are urged to

Quantitative or non-
academic students are
advised to study math,

aquarium and terranium,
which contains fish,
water snails, green snakes,
a lizard, a terrapin, land
snails, and different
kinds of vegetation, have

enjoyment.
